Resourcentral Goals

• Market & enhance the use of Community Access Program (CAP) and Public Internet site
• This will be accomplished by creating a logo that will become a common identifier for all sites. The sites will also have signage and marketing material such as brochures and posters to advertise the project.
• Provide new ways of accessing appropriate and effective learning opportunities enabled by learning technologies
• The Resourcentral webpage will offer a variety of online training tutorials on computer programs and the Internet. The website will also provide helpful links to continuing education and job searching pages.
• Develop expertise in the creative uses of learning technologies in Northern Ontario to develop sustainable programs and support life-long learning
• Provide CAP and public internet site administrators with a medium to network and share best practices
• Site administrators will have a discussion forum section on the website where they can post questions and share best practices.
• Develop models of expertise that would provide guidance and support to emerging or established community learning networks

• Standard training will be made available at each of the sites.
